Precautions when using AODD PUMP:
Air double diaphragm pump is a positive displacement pump that uses compressed air as its power to change the volume through the reciprocating deformation of the diaphragm. Its working principle is similar to that of a plunger pump.
Pay attention to the following points when using a pneumatic diaphragm pump to operate:
- Ensure that the largest particle contained in the fluid does not exceed the maximum safe passing particle diameter standard of the pump.
- The intake pressure should not exceed the maximum allowable working pressure of the pump. Compressed air higher than the rated pressure may cause personal injury and property loss and damage the performance of the pump.
- Ensure that the pump pressure piping system can withstand the highest output pressure reached, and ensure the cleanliness and normal working conditions of the driving air system.
- Electrostatic sparks may cause explosions, resulting in personal injury and death accidents and property losses. If necessary, use a wire with a large enough cross-sectional area to properly and reliably ground the ground screw on the pump.
- Grounding requirements comply with local laws and regulations and some special requirements on site.
- Tighten the pump and all connecting pipe joints to prevent electrostatic sparks from being generated due to vibration, impact and rubbing. Use antistatic hose.
- To periodically check and test the reliability of the grounding system, the grounding resistance is required to be less than 100 ohms.
- Keep good exhaust and ventilation, away from flammable, explosive and heat sources.
