The lobe rotor pump is mainly composed of rotor, a pair of synchronous meshing gears, mechanical seal, pump body, pump body end cover, transmission box, transition disc, two transmission shafts, flanges, couplings and other parts.

The driving mode adopts a variable-speed motor or a fixed-ratio geared motor or the user selects the supporting device according to his own needs, so as to smoothly adjust the output flow in a larger range. The rotor shaft is mounted on a pair of tapered roller bearings that can bear the axial load. The gear pair is installed in a gear box with an oil sump. The gear box and the pump body are separated from each other, and a certain distance apart, the oil in the gear box will not mix with the medium in the pump body.

The machining accuracy of the rotor is relatively high, and different materials such as cast iron and stainless steel are used according to the transmission medium. The shaft seal at the pump body adopts a precise balanced or unbalanced mechanical seal. The synchronous gear and the box body are generally made of structural steel and cast iron respectively. The drive shaft is made of medium carbon steel.
